Mission

We believe every child is musical and that music touches every child.  In a Kindermusik class at Sweetpea Music, we make it our mission to foster a lifetime love of music in every child.  It is our belief that the musical investment you make in your child will pay dividends for life!

How do I join a class?

You can enroll anytime via our website or phone.  If you enroll after the first week of the month, your monthly tuition will be prorated.

Payments

Monthly tuition payments are made by credit or debit card.  All enrolled families will be charged on the 1st of each month.  If you'd like to discontinue your enrollment, notification must be given prior to the 1st of the month.  NO refunds will be given for cancellations after the 1st of the month.

Home Materials

Home materials are a way that Kindermusik can come home with you to continue the fun beyond our classroom!  Families who participate in in-person classes will receive physical materials (book, music, and an age appropriate instrument (depending on session)).  Families enrolled in virtual classes will receive access to digital materials via the e-mail address used to enroll in class.  These digital materials will coincide with the units in class and can be accessed on a smartphone, tablet, or home computer.  Materials upgrades are available at an additional cost for those families who prefer physical elements (i.e.: CD, instrument, book).

Make Up Classes

Sick?  Out of town?  Need to make up a class? No problem!  We offer a generous UNLIMITED makeup policy.  You can schedule a make up class on the website, by phone, e-mail, or in person.  You can make up in ANY class as long as:

  • The class is age appropriate

  • The class has space available

  • You are currently enrolled

Inclement Weather and Cancelled Classes

For morning classes, we will follow Kanawha County Schools decisions on inclement weather.  If Kanawha County Schools issues a 2-hour delay OR school closure, we will NOT have class.  You will also be notified via e-mail and Facebook.

For evening classes, we will make our own decision regarding cancellations. Weather-related cancellations will not be rescheduled and we invite our families to schedule a make up class.

Regardless of our decision to have class, we ask that you always use your own judgement in deciding to come or stay home and hope that our families always err on the side of caution. Classes cancelled for emergencies or illnesses will be rescheduled for the effected families.
